About Me

Audrey T Murenzvi is a Business Strategy Consultant who helps small businesses develop strategies to grow and scale, all the while discovering the mind of God in the design of our lives and how to apply Kingdom systems in order to live meaningful lives.

Her passion for experiential personal development and building the optimal human experience is driven by her difficult upbringing accented by loss, domestic violence, and extreme poverty. She wants to pass on some of the key nuggets she picked up on her journey towards regaining some normalcy to encourage anyone who cannot see a way forward for themselves.

What I do

My goal is to see businesses – and people in my circles work towards something better. For businesses, the simple question is how do we increase our bottom line – but often it begs a host of other questions that expose every business’s strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.

And by applying the same principles to our lives – we are better able to answer the 5 core questions of our lives – Who am I? Why am I here? What should I do to achieve that? Where am I now? And How do I get to where I want to go?

My story begins with loss and is interjected by many seasons of disappointment – but one thing you won’t find in it is giving up. I have continued – against the odds, when I thought I was going crazy, when I didn’t have the words to explain anything anymore. And I hope that you do the same, if not for you do it for someone to whom your success matters.

A key function in all organisations, I offer the finance function much-needed bookkeeping, tax management, financial reporting and analysis support that transcends into the medium and long-term strategies of the business.

The Back Story

We are often told of stories that start somewhere, something happens that changes the status quo and finally things settle down. While I would love to assume that at least one of the tales in my story starts and begins that way, I know this for sure:

I am the first of four children – an only child for 7 years. As the first born child I didn’t have an older sibling to look up to. So figuring things out on my own started during alone playtime.I grew up with that same mindset – my one goal was to get a degree education and be independent. I was madly in love with the idea of self-sufficiency.

To my own advantage (I guess) a four year degree program took me a good 10 years to finish, in those 10 years I recorded songs in the studio, featured in a national singing competition, worked in retail, founded a tech start up, worked at an e-commerce start-up, in advertising, been on TV, worked in radio, worked behind the camera, qualified in digital and content marketing and worked at the front desk. All this so I could achieve my one goal – get a degree education and be independent. It’s safe to say that I know a little about a lot of things.

When life hit rock bottom for me – I turned to the one thing I know for sure – the foundations my parents had laid in me – hard work and a relationship with God. I pushed myself to remember who I was before I became a recording artist, a merchandiser, a start-up founder, a business development specialist, a copywriter, a content marketer, a receptionist or the accountant I so badly wanted to be.

And that is when I started to really live. I met my now husband of 5 years, finished my degree, started working on my career, and came back to the LORD.
